Part 2
An Unexpected Guest, Part Two
As she sat in front the fire, wiping her blade clean of the Goblins blood, the rider quietly emerged from the storeroom and looked over to the Orcess, and began to slowly make his way towards the fire. He had never seen a Orc before, let alone a Orcess. Her very presence and her earlier martial display made him wary of her. Though the fact she went out of her way to defend him, made him believe she meant him no harm.
After a slow walk to the fire, he sat down across from her, and watched as she cleaned her sword. A few minutes had passed, she had finished cleaning her sword and laid it to rest beside her, and began to remove her armour. The two sat in silence, the only sound was of crackling fire, and the wind and rain outside. A few more awkward moments had passed, and neither had yet to speak, she had started to make a broth from the remaining bones, and had yet to acknowledge him in anyway, the rider thought it best to try and break the silence first.
'Umm Thanks for, saving me back there' The Orcess merely gave him a glance, her amber eyes making contact with his for a brief moment before turning her attention back to the broth. The rider, in another attempt to make polite conversation, asked her; 'I suppose i should introduce myself, my name is Konrad, whats your's? 'Ushug' she replied. 'Well that's a..., nice name i suppose' She gave a him another glare, though this time there was a hint a aggression in her look.
'Umm, i didn't mean it like that!, just meant that for your kind...' 'My kind?' she said in a aggressive tone. 'I didn't mean it like that!' he said whilst getting to his feet. 'I mean for like Goblins and Orcs...' Before he could finish she had gotten up and stood over him. She stood significantly taller than he did, and was built much larger than him. He knew he had little chance if he didn't try to diffuse the situation soon.
'Um, Sorry! i-i-i didn't mean to offend!. Apologies.' 'Word of advice, Konrad, never speak of Orcs in the same light as Goblins, cause you may one day meet and Orc who isn't as levelheaded as me' 'Duly noted' he replied
Ushug then made her way back to where she had been sitting, Konrad sat back down as well, and silence returned to the inn. After yet again a long awkward silence Ushug offered Konrad a bowl of broth, which he accepted, he only taken a sip before gagging, but managed to hide it from her so as not to push his luck any further. Whilst he continued to reluctantly drink the broth she had had two servings, and offered him a second, which he accepted so as not to offend, but whilst she turned away for a moment he poured the broth away into an empty chamber pot near him, and pretended to drink up the last of it as she turned back.
After he placed the bowl back down he yawned heavily, he had had a wild day and needed his rest. 'Is there any beds in here?' he asked. 'No' she replied. 'If you wanna sleep grab a sheep skin, and find wherever is comfy'. 'Umm, okay.' said Konrad awkwardly.
He grabbed a sheep skin from behind the counter and tried to find a comfy position, after many attempts, he gave up and hoped he would just fall asleep where he was. He sat awake for what felt to him like hours, he'd never had to try and sleep like this, bored he looked over to Ushug, hoping to try and converse successfully this time, but she had fallen asleep. He used this opportunity to get a proper look at her, despite being an Orc, he found she had a fierce beauty about her, her complexion was a smooth dark green, with the exception of a couple small scars that ran across her cheek. Her features were sharp, pointy ears and nose with dark green lips, from which a pair of small fangs protruded from her bottom lip. Her hair was a thick long mess of onyx black falling down past her shoulders.
He studied the rest of her, she was thickly built and toned, her breasts were large, and through the fabric of her loose shirt he could see the outline of her dark green nipples. He began to feel a fluttering sensation in his stomach, and felt himself harden as he continued to stare at her. But quickly regained his senses and turned away, putting those thoughts to the back of his mind, and attempting again to get some sleep.
