An Overworld with dungeons (dungeons)

( first off for those who do not know what dungeons series is? The dungeon series is a video game series with four games so far and variety of DLC but enough of that now on to what it actually is. The dungeon series is a fun little games that is a mix of real-time strategy with dungeon building/ management. You take the role of the ultimate Evil trying to extinguish the good from the world it's pretty much one big parody of various fantasy games, movies ,Etc to the point that it even makes fun of itself through quite a bit of fourth wall breaking with the narrator and the characters talking to each other in the games. It also has a tendency to go meta on you and even commenting that itself is in a game. ) ( just a heads up I'm going to try and keep the core elements of the games humor and snarkiness) ( I'm also adding my own lore to the story because the world of dungeons isn't all that flushed out I have played every game but the first one so I'm not quite sure how the ultimate Evil came to be it really doesn't matter in the long run because just about every character that opposes the ultimate Evil ends up dead)

Long ago in a fantasy world far far away their existed the absolute evil a being which through the course of various video games eventually conquered the world and vanquished all the good things for a time it was absolutely aesthetic but after a few years I realized that the world was quite boring without good beings to kill and conquer and there's only so many things it can do to it's own creatures before it gets boring except for the only one that's worth damn Thalya the dark elf who had served the ultimate Evil for a total of two games but enough about her for now time to get back to the absolute evil and it had to do something to end its boredom so it sent out it's creatures to scour the world then the waiting began until finally they reported back and found some ruins and Towers filled with magic knowledge that were inexplicably not touched throughout the destruction and Carnage of the the games so far so it sent Thalya and it's most "intelligent" creatures it itself was also going through some of the information but as it could only take corporeal form for short periods of time it had to leave most of the research up to them. It took years due to the sheer amount of information in the ruins and Towers but the absolute evil finally had all the knowledge needed. Apparently according to the information in these places the world itself was in constant Cycles of Good and Evil they were even times where there was neutrals where both good and evil fought for control until one eventually won but ultimately it came down to good or evil starting in control and it's opposite taking control from it. The absolute evil was a little bit irritated to find out that it was just one piece of the cycle but the cycle provided just the perfect thing it said that good will eventually come back the only problem was the matter of time when would good come back but it figured out a solution thanks to all that knowledge that had previously been researched and that was to send itself and thalya after all she was the only of its current forces that was actually worth dam she would be sent into the future as she is but itself as its current vessel gorgu it is really not the most convenient since it's a baby's little snot so it would send itself into the future into a new vessel that would actually be perfect for it. A few months passed by as preparing a ritual takes time and also gathering enough sacrifices cuz after all every ritual requires some form of sacrifice and in this case a lot not only its own forces but some of the heroes and good creatures that it kept in cages that somehow miraculous had survived the years since the ultimate evils Triumph. At last the day finally came for the ritual in a large Temple that was oddly similar to the one that was in dungeons 3 they had previously been used to summon the Absolute Evil before it was a terrifying it's creatures of the horde it's Undead and demons and even a small number of little snots as well as a number of aforementioned Heroes and good creatures their numbers were over 9,000, 9001 to be exact. There the absolute evil stood inside a magic circle right next to the sacrificial pit on the opposite side in a slightly different magic circle stood Thalya then the absolute evil gave the signal for the sacrifices to jump into the pit which they would aside from the heroes in good creatures which had to be naturally **** in by the evil creatures but we're also being sacrificed as more and more sacrifices enter the pit the circles that the absolute evil and Talia were standing on began to glow brighter and brighter until finally as the last sacrifice happily jumped into the pit the glow of the magic circles we're so bright that neither of them could see anything and then after a full minute of the the last one had been sacrificed the light died down revealing only the temple itself and the magic circles they were quite literally the only proof that anything actually happened there.

( okay now that that's all over with so I put it in the dungeons world but seeing as how it's later in the future you can do whatever you want with the world itself as well as the characters in it so if you want to bring a whole bunch of characters into it from other things go right ahead note that aside from Thalya you can pretty make much make the absolute evil whatever you want male female whatever doesn't matter as in the game it's always shown as a hulking Behemoth that always where's armor. If possible make the vessel at least humanoid or at the very least have them able to become humanoid at some point another thing you can take it from thalya's perspective and have her fuse with the ultimate Evil if you want if you do this she will most likely have to be made a futa you can keep her as a female if you want but for at least my thought process she needs both features
