Chapter 15 by Vestiphile Vestiphile

And where is that?

An Office Building Downtown

Anna found her way downtown. When she realized she was heading into the city, she dropped her car off at one of the transit hubs and took the rail in the rest of the way.

She practically had to hold herself in her seat. Every time the subway hit a bump or went into a bend on the rail, her supernatural buoyancy would become obvious. She made a point of wearing her heaviest boots in the hopes that it would mitigate the new properties affecting her body. Her newfound appetite might've been the strangest part. She felt like she could drink gallons without bloating herself.

Anna had no idea what the limitations of her new abilities were, but she figured finding the strange little creature she'd interacted with in the library was the first step to solving the mystery. Since she apparently had some innate feel for where it was, it made sense to track it down.

So now she found herself standing in front of a very imposing office building, looking in at a lobby full of turnstiles with a couple of security guards behind a desk. She watched as a staffer buzzed their badge and got themselves inside. She wasn't very well going to walk in to here without some credentials, so she changed her plans and continued around the block.

When she passed by an alley, she discreetly turned into it, checking behind her when she was a few meters in. Here the entire backside of her target building was nothing but a stark wall and exit doors without alley-facing doorknobs or handles. There were, however, large open windows about five stories up.

"Can I really do this?" Anna asked herself. It wouldn't exactly be breaking and entering, but it would still be trespassing. She looked to see if she could find any cameras, and when she didn't spot any, she took a deep breath.

She hopped just a little bit to test herself, not wanting to overdo it. After all, the way she bounced around the house earlier, she didn't know what to expect.

With just the tiniest prime from her knees, pushing off lightly with her ankles, she went two feet into the air and gently sailed back down. When she let out the air in her lungs, she dropped a tiny bit faster but found herself bouncing back up a few inches and resettling.

She couldn't help but let out a stifled giggle. Apparently her little friend had turned her into some kind of minor superhero. She could feel her rubbery body resettle from the motion, and she suddenly wondered what else she was capable of.

One leap at a time, she thought. She puffed up her lungs again and held her breath as she bent her knees. This time when she launched off from the asphalt, she sailed straight up past tier after tier of bricks, all the way up to the row of windows she was aiming for.

Then she passed those, too.

"Shit, shit!" Anna exclaimed, reaching out for her next chance on another tier of windows. This time she succeeded and stopped herself high above the alley on a window ledge. It was a sliding window that only seemed open so far, and she wasn't sure if she had the room to get through. She was lucky enough to be looking in at an empty copy room, though. At least no one had seen her. She looked around and saw a copier, fax, print stations and boxes of paper. She began trying to squeeze through the window and found it easier than she expected.

"Oh, right," Anna said, remembering the tricks she pulled earlier with her 180° neck-swivel, her flexible fingers, and her tits that swelled up by her will alone. She took stock of this and realized it might not be so hard to get around this building after all.

She was wearing a skirt suit and black leather boots. With any luck, she could at least look like she belonged in the building. She hoped the company was big enough that any given staff member wouldn't know everyone working on the floor. She primed herself for an upcoming interaction and opened the door with confidence, heading out to the hall. She was close, but something in her told her that her little friend was a few stories above her. All she had to do was find an elevator bank and hope that the floors didn't require an access card.

She passed by a couple people with an innocent "good morning", and got polite responses that told her she wasn't putting off any vibes that she didn't belong. Before long she found the elevator banks and got on to the next lift going up. Once again she was lucky enough to be on the elevator by herself, and she took a second to decide what number she should hit. She was apparently on the seventh floor. She pointed her finger somewhere around the 12 to 15 range, closed her eyes and let her instincts guide her. After she pressed the button, she opened them again to find she had hit floor 13.

"Ooh, foreboding..." She said, trying to ready herself for what she might encounter. The elevator doors opened up, and Anna stepped out to find a floor with three sets of glass doors. Each set of glass doors corresponded to a different company, and going on instinct again, she chose the one on the left. Apparently it was a marketing firm.

When she went to open the door, though, it was locked. According to the sign on the door, this particular office didn't have Friday hours. Nevertheless, Anna was sure that what she was looking for was on the other side.

There was about three quarters of an inch of space between the two glass doors. Anna raised an eyebrow and tried to **** her fingers through, looking at the locking bolt on the other side. Once again, she looked around for cameras – this time seeing a silvery dome just outside the elevator door exit. She gritted her teeth, realizing what was done was done. Her only chance was to hope she could be quick enough to not be seen.

As if by magic, her already slender fingers stretched, becoming even longer and thinner. She nervously reached them towards the bolt, tentatively grabbing it and turning it as fast as she could. It was heavy, but she saw not only the bolt between the doors disappear, but found that the securing bolts on the bottom and top had also come undone with a single turn.

She stretched her hand, and her fingers snapped back into place. She opened the door, slid inside, and took a moment to look at her hand again. It seemed normal. She took a deep breath and looked around the seemingly quiet office. Was it really in here?

She could feel her own pulse. She knew what she was doing was totally illegal — and she wasn't sure that she hadn't been seen on the security cameras – but she did know that she could leap out a window anytime she wanted. A grin came over her face as she relished the power of knowing she could escape at any time if the need arose. She might attract some attention on the floors below, but she would cross that bridge when she came to it.

Wandering through the halls, she heard someone in a corner office. As she got closer, she realized that she was hearing very passionate moaning. She blushed a little, holding her hand to her mouth as she tried to suss out what was happening on the other side. Another glass door stood before her with the shades inside it pulled all the way to the ground.

"Oh, that's so good," a sultry voice moaned on the other side of the door. "Fuck me! Fuck me against the ceiling!" The voice cried. Anna could hear the commotion of a body being manhandled, and given the vocabulary of the woman on the other side, she was sure she found what she was looking for. Another big clue was Anna's arousal. Hearing what was going on behind the door was one thing, and that was exciting enough, but Anna could somehow feel what was happening. There seemed to be some sort of empathetic connection between her and the playful bouncy slime creature that she was sure was on the other side.

Time for a surprise visit, then?
