An Inevitable Conflict

Sam had the Whole thing prepared, he had the room cleaned, the lights dimmed, a dinner prepared, he even had Geryon fetch a Musician from the Theatre down the road, and all in the space of a few hours, boy the things you could do with a bit of doe in this town, and all for her... Sam had not felt this way about anyone before and sure she was a Catholic but with their connection he could find a way.

"How dare you." Sam sighed as the familiar wrath of the Spiteful tone ringed out, "I take you home from that pathetic drab of a foster family, I Raise you as a Royalty, I Gift you my Third in Command and gave you the means to take over this Miserable place and yet you still think to betray me!"

Sam turned to see Lucifer, his eyes were like a Freezing Flame that pierced into him. "Father.... I did not mean to betray you"

Lucifer appeared before Sam "Oh you didn't mean it? oh so I should just give you hugs and kisses, apologies should I!? I am the Devil and I do not take kindly to having my things taken from me!"

Sam Returned his piercing gaze raising his voice alongside Lucifer "And I am your Son, And yet all of these years you have done what? pass me off to your lowers for training, for guidance? you are the King of the Demons you could have done any of that by yourself. But you merely stood and watch by the sidelines just like you did when I thought I was Mortal!"

Lucifer burned like a Wildfire "You are a Spoiled boy, who thinks he knows all, you know nothing!"

Sam retorted exploding with a rage "You're right, I don't know anything, maybe because you don't tell me anything, while you sit on your Ivory tower belting out about those that have wronged you, you mask the truth of your Intentions..."

Lucifer was simmered down a bit by this "I haven't lied to you about anything, our plan was for you to become Lord over the Mortal world, that is it."

Sam smirked "You know for the king of Lies, that wasn't very convincing."

Lucifer's eyebrows raised he was hiding something alright.

"You, know the Beast told me, that all that torture you had her put me through was to prepare me, now what does she mean by that?"

Lucifer's eyes fell "It doesn't matter"

Sam's fists clenched. "It doesn't matter? ever since you saved me from those cultists I idolised you! after you filled my head with all that fancy of me becoming King over the entire world. I actually believed that I may have someone who I could just for once call family, truly. But I was wrong wasn't I?"

Lucifer's eyes narrowed with a Cold serpentine grace, "I am your father, Samael and I only ever meant the best for you..."

Sam pressed him with his stare "But?"

Lucifer Looked down with shame, something that Sam had never seen him show before.

"When I found out that you were born, I was... happy, happier than when I was still above, and when I got you back to hell My desire to give you everything was genuine..." Sam saw the regret in his eyes as he told him the truth, "But when I saw how powerful you were becoming, my mind returned to that old resentment I had to Your Grandfather, I wanted him to pay for what his 'Perfect Humanity' did to my Son, and so thought that I could channel your power, harness that energy into taking on the havens, finally dethroning that Tyrant and my traitor brethren..."

Sam fumed as his father looked at him.

"Just listen to me son, This isn't who we are, stealing from me is not what I taught you, I-"

Sam cut him off with a gesture "Just leave."

Lucifer looked at his son with regret in his eyes "...But son."

In that moment the dam broke as Sam turned to his father with rage in his heart "I SAID LEAVE!"

A massive shock wave of power released from Sam, staggering the Devil and knocking over nearly everything in the penthouse dining room. Sam could feel his skin burning and his eyes flashing like bolts of electricity, the Pure energy that resonated within him, not quite Demon, and not quite Human but something In-between...

Lucifer with a shocked look that was almost fright, descended back into Hell as Sam tried to calm his wicked anger.

Sam managed to get the Dining hall cleaned up pretty quickly, Geryon quickly getting things back into order after checking on Sam, "M-My Prince was that you?" Sam still calming merely gestured to the mess he had made "I would appreciate it if you cleaned this up before my guest arrives"

Geryon bowed "Yes My Prince" Sam sat in the Living room thinking about his father's words, Sam knew that his father was the Devil, but to think to use him for his washed-out revenge.... made Sam's headache

"Sir" Sam flinched as Geryon rested a Hand on his shoulder, "...I know it may not be my place, but I thought it important to see if you were okay?"

Sam now cooler than before, smiled at Geryon "I am fine my friend, It was merely a spat between Royals..."

Geryon nodded "Well, a Young lady is waiting for you down in the Reception..."

Sam smiled happily "Send her up"

Geryon bowed heading towards the Elevator.

Sam stood in the Dining room waiting for Eileen to arrive, nervously tapping his fingers on the table

3"Master Morningstar..." Sam turned seeing Geryon, the beautiful face and form of Eileen standing next to him, "Thank you, Mr Griggs, you can go now"

Geryon bowed his head respectfully "Do call if you need anything Sir"

Sam nodded as the two younger souls gave each other warm smiles. Sam and Eileen sat by each other on the smaller table chowing down on the Subs that Sam had Geryon have one of the caterers whip up in the Club's kitchen.

Sam finished before her, his thoughts making him nibble anxiously.

Eileen took a bite out of her BMT, noticing Sam's distant look and taping fingers, she rested a hand on his "Hey, what's up?"

Sam enjoyed the soft sensation of Eileen's soft palm, "It doesn't matter..." Sam felt Eileen's foot caressing his ankle.

"Don't keep things from me, Sammy, I don't like seeing you so sad..."

Sam sighed "It's just, Dad and I got in a fight..."

Eileen's foot ran up and down his Leg tickling him"I just-Hey, Hey stop it..."

Eileen giggled, "Just trying to cheer you up" Sam stared at her with dreamy eyes.

"So... about you being Catholic..." Eileen sighed "I guess that this would have to come up"

Sam smiled "Well we don't have to talk about it?" Eileen shook her head "No, I want to it's just I already know what you are gonna ask... Do I have to go to church, Are you gonna try to Convert me... when can we fuck." Sam raised his eyebrows with a Smirk, a short chuckle escaping him, "What?" She asked with a smile, Sam took her hand "Your Smart and Funny, such a catch" Eileen's face fell a little, "I can't have sex until I'm married Sam..." Sam thought a moment "So your really devout huh?" Eileen shook her head "well... No." Sam raised an eyebrow "So... why the chastity?" Eileen sighed "remember how my Gammy raised me?" Sam indeed Remember Eileen's grandmother, A Church nut if he ever new one "...well she made me promise that I keep my Virginity until I married, she was old and sick and so I agreed, Eventually I got sick of it but she passed away before I could talk to her about it... now I feel like I have to keep it... it was the last promise I made to her..."

Eileen continued to rub he Foot on his leg, Sam eventually stood going around to Eileen, she shivered as he rubbed her neck and Shoulders, coming down and kissing her. Sam still messaging let his left hand fall down to her jeans but found it taken by Eileen "No Sex, Sam...." Sam lowed his Lips to her Ear "Define Sex..."
