An Impish Hero

A human found themselves in a floating void. Confused, yet intrigued. Suddenly, a voice rang out from within.

Welcome, Hero. Please answer my questions truthfully. Whatever comes to mind first will do, the voice rang out.

It was deep, the human thought. Imposing, powerful. They wondered if this was a dream, but decided to play along and see where this would go- so they simply nodded, despite not knowing where the voice was coming from.

Let's start with your name, the voice followed up.

"My name is Derek," responded the human.

Are you male or female?

"Female. What's it look like?" Derek responded sarcastically, arms crossed.

The voice seemed almost taken aback. Forgive me, I expected a different answer, but I shouldn't assume. Moving on...

Derek sighed. He's got to know I'm joking, right? Ah well, not like it matters...

What's your sexual orientation?

Derek replied quickly. "Let's just say...I can't help but be obsessed with the female form. Curves just do it for me."

Fair enough, the voice replied. What about your personality?

Derek chuckled. In reality, he was more of a loner, and an outsider looking in might think there was nothing much to write home about. While Derek did try to do some good for society by volunteering every once in a while, he definitely spent a lot of time on scandalous websites. Wondering how it might be if he was a part of the stories, literally. How it would be like to belong to a world of smutty chaos.

Then he opened his mouth. "I mean, based on what I actually want to be? I would say playful with others, if not an outright tease. Being open, perhaps a bit bold and silly, but not as a substitute for honesty- an enhancement if anything. Just being able to talk about whatever without judgement, even if it's sexual a lot of the time. Not that I get much of a chance to do it. I feel like if I was born in the right place at the right time, I would really shine, you know? I'd love to be more confident and bold if I could, if I knew others would accept it." He felt a strange movement from the voice. as if he could feel it nodding, despite only being able to experience him through audio thus far.

A more useful answer than you think, returned the voice. Now tell me about your life as a human.

Derek put a hand to his chin. "Hmm. Nothing crazy, really. Graduated from a community college...now I live alone in a tiny apartment, spending a lot of time at the office just to afford my rent. Can barely a full night's sleep, let alone have fun. Like I said, I wish my life was pretty different. But society doesn't work like that for people like me."

Fascinating. What about your likes and dislikes?

"Did I already tell you how much I like women? Breasts, ass, the works. Curvy girls, chubby girls, tall, short...not too picky, really. Also, I like a bit of chaos here and there. Just enough to shake up the day to day of life, for things to take unexpected turns. That's always fun. Otherwise...I like track and field, I guess. That was the one sport I was good at in college. Dislikes... I don't like sticklers for the rules. It just makes me want to rebel and add to the chaos! I also don't like loud noises...my ears are rather sensitive."

"Huh? Wait-" Derek began, but suddenly fell to the ground in a deep slumber.

It was soon after that a female Alolan Meowth appeared, napping comfortably on a lone stump in the forest.

"Hey, are you okay?" a voice called out to the kittymon.
