As they walked further down the path, they came upon a clearing with a small pond and a wooden bench. After a few miles they decided to turn around and head back the same way they'd come. They soon released the couple they'd passed sat on the log earlier were no longer there. They continued until they got back to the smaller clearing they had stumbled across earlier, to their shock the couple they had seen chatting on the log where now approaching the other couple who were having sex.
