An Explanation

Mark bent down and picked up the envelope, checked to make sure the photos were inside. Seeing what looked like a complete series of photographs, Mark turned his attention to what was right on the top of his mind.

“So Mr. Dutton, just how did you get this envelope and how did you trace the people in the pictures to my wife and myself?”

Dutton just looked at Mark, then replied in a way that made both Mark and Emma stare in disbelief. Oh that was easy, Trevor Morris, the person who I understand lived next door to you both found the envelope in the library, looked the photos over then rang me up telling me about a couple who would be perfect candidates for our productions!”

Both Mark and Emma blanched at that, both looked at each other. Emma shivered at what she heard. “Oh god Mark, we never expect him to see the photos!”

Then Dutton tried to alleviate her fears. “Hey don’t let that worry you, Trevor promised me personally that if I get you both to agree to work for us that he’ll only ask for a one time fling with you Emma instead of his customary two thousand dollars finder fee!”

Both Mark and Emma blanched at that. But for some reason, Mark’s pants began tenting at the idea. He turned to Emma, “Why don’t you go into the kitchen and make us some coffee, while I sort this out with Mr. Dutton!”

Emma didn’t hesitate, turning and going into the kitchen. Mark turned back to Mr. Dutton. “So just what are you offering and how much are you willing to pay if we agree?”

“Well first we would have to do a preliminary shoot to see if you can handle the stress of a shoot, which of course would be a scene between you and your charming wife. If that works out then the pay will start at minimum one thousand dollars. And from there the more you work and are willing to do the money raises appropriately.!”

Then as if to entice Mark more, “But if you become popular then you can easily make tens of thousands for a few hours work, especially if the national magazines pick you up to work with. And that doesn’t even cover internet sites who would pay even more based on viewings!”

“But in exchange, I would have to let Trevor have sex with Emma?”

“Well on screen sex, something that’s more scripted than natural sex is!”

Mr. Dutton saw that if nothing else, Mark seemed interested. So he handed Mark his card and said, “hey tell you what? Talk it over with Emma and decide then call me and we’ll take it from there!”

Mr. Dutton shook Mark’s hand then showed himself out! Mark watched him go, then decided how best to approach the subject with Emma!
