An Enjoyable Day Of Skiing

Kenny and Mindy finally emerged from the lodge after almost twenty minutes. Mindy was practically glued to Kenny's side as they started marching up the slope. Along the way they past Brian and Anna who were slowly making their way down the slope together then after another few minutes they got past by JJ who yelled out, "About time!"

As they turned their heads and laughed at the comical display of JJ talking to them in a split second Nicole came flying past as well, "No! Not Again!" She shouted as she had lost two times already against JJ and didn't want it to become three.

Kenny shook his head and lead on, "Looks like everyone's having a good time." Kenny said smirking to Mindy who had a little annoyed look on her face,

"Yeah I was too, but then I had to come out in the freezing snow," Mindy grumbled out to him,

"Oh come on it's not that bad," Kenny said nudging her,

"Well before I had you keeping me close and...doing other things, now I'm shivering, does that not sound bad?" She asked with a grin,

"Alright, you got me there." Kenny said with a laugh, "Nice to know I was doing good though."

"Good? Ken, I could have spent the whole day in there with you." Mindy said blankly then she turned a bit red, "I, uh mean..." She stammered out,

"Smooth." Kenny said with a laugh causing Mindy to shove him playfully, "Hey what was that for?"

"Don't be an ass, I'm still recovering from inside," Mindy replied with a small smirk,

"Uh-huh, sure you are Mindy," Kenny said nudging her. Mindy let out a little gasp and stared at him embarrassed, "Joke! Joke! Please don't make me sleep on the couch, that bed's comfy."

Mindy glared out him for a minute then said, "We'll see. Maybe if I'm feeling nice." Kenny looked back to her seeing that she had now broken into a grin.

Throughout the rest of the day, the six of them continued to ski near to the end of the day. By three it was already starting to get dark and by four they could see that the sun was already starting to set. Brian called everyone back to the lodge saying, "Trust me, you don't know how cold this mountain can get without the sun!" As everyone gathered back into the cabin they all admitted it was a good day. JJ was poking fun at Nicole for beating her in almost every race while Anna was smiling widely over her newfound ability to ski. Even Mindy was admitting that she had a good time though she wouldn't say that it was better than a cozy day inside the lodge.
