An Awkward Conversation

Jo entered the break room, climbed onto the counter and sat just as she had been told to. She was aware some of her colleague's were looking at her strangely.

"Um, Jo are you alright up there? Is everything okay with you?" her friend Abbie asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine just chilling here for a bit" Jo replied, trying to cover her embarrassment and hoping she wouldn't be stuck like this for much longer. An hour passed, she was still stuck in place on the counter, legs crossed, chest pushed out and hands behind her head. She had assured a number of her increasingly bemused colleagues that she was okay but she knew how weird this looked. Worse was to come.

"Joanne, get back to your desk" it was her annoying boss Andy, one of the few guys in the office Jo couldn't sweet talk her way out of trouble with.

"I'm fine here for now" she answered.

"I'm a little concerned by your behaviour Joanne. First I hear from Dwight that you were hanging around in the men's urinals and refusing to leave, now this. Do you have an explanation for your behaviour?"

At this moment Jo's phone buzzed. She looked at the email she had received and groaned. It seemed like she had some new instructions that were going to make a bad situation even worse.
