An Aeon

There are many ways to name them, but they are more known as Aeons. Each Aeon embodies a concept, a path so vast that those who follow them can manifest its power, ever so slightly. They are known as Pathstriders, and in rare instances, when one receives the grace of an Aeon, they become an Emanator, those who have direct permission to use their power.

They have countless beings who worship them. Qlipoth, the Aeon of Preservation, have the IPC. Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance, is revered by the Memokeepers. Nous, of Erudition, have the Genius Society, and Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, fuels the zealotry of the Antimatter Legion.

Yet despite them never intervening with the mortal realm, there are moments when an Aeon will get involved. Whether to amuse themselves, like Aha, the Aeon of Elation; to pursue a purpose, like Lan, the Aeon of the Hunt, they can dominate the will of their followers, bending Pathstriders to their whims for reasons only they understand.
