An Adventure For One

Jack couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could his wife want to have both him and another man, and expect him to be ok with it? He could see how conflicted she was over this, so it wasn't some easy thing of her to ask. His immediate reaction was to say no and tell her that this whole idea was crazy.... But he kept thinking about that kiss. Her lips and tongue dancing with Tony's. The heat that had been in the other man's eyes as he felt the lust from his old flame... Jack finally felt like he was understanding the mixed emotions he had been trying to face since last night. He had been turned on. But even though he now felt a strange desire to explore these new feelings, he just couldn't bring himself to fully commit to this lifestyle that Diana was suggesting...

"Diana, we've been married for two years, and together for nearly five. You've kept an important part of your past hidden from me, and I can understand why. But this is something I needed to know sooner."

"I know Honey. I was just so worried I would lose you if you knew."

"And are you worried now? Even though you just made it clear that you want to let Tony fuck you and use you like a toy again?"

"I'm terrified," she said in a whisper. Jack could see that she was shaking. Diana really was scared. If he agreed, her life that she had tried to change for might disappear, but if he said no, she was losing that part of herself again, and possibly losing her marriage in the process just for asking. Jack understood her fears, but he was also a little proud of her for being honest. He reached out and took one of her hands and she looked fearfully into his eyes.

"I love you Diana, but this is a really difficult thing you are asking for. I'm not saying no... But if you want to go down this road, it's something I don't think I can really handle."

"So... It's a no then? I... I understand."

"It's not a no... Fuck, I can't believe I'm even considering this. Look Love, if you really feel that you need this in your life, I won't stop you. But I don't want any part of it. Find ways to be discreet, and try to leave me out of it. Just... For my sake, try not to forget who you're actually married to."

"Jack... I don't want to hurt you. I promise I don't... But I think I need it. Seeing Tony again just did something to me. It woke up those old desires and I don't know how to bottle them back up now."

"Just promise me Diana, if I can't do this, it stops. I don't want to lose you, and I don't want you to push me away."

"I promise. I may have to do some creative scheduling, but I'll do my best so that you never have to notice what goes on outside of us."

Diana rose from her chair and moved to his side of the table, leaning down to hug her husband. Jack wished that the action reassured him, but it didn't. He had just given his wife permission to cheat on him, and he wasn't sure that their marriage would last. He had said he would try, but he had so many doubts swirling around in his mind. He hoped that he hadn't made a mistake.
