Chapter 4 by Alostsoul Alostsoul

What's next?

Amy the metal chick

“Amy you don’t have a partner yet do you?” Ms. Miller said looking over to a girl at sitting at the back of the class.

Wait Amy? You don’t remember a Amy in this class.

“Uh no, no I don’t.” Amy said looking up from a piece of paper she was doodling on.

“Great, you can partner with Doug then, Doug…” Ms. Miller said motioning you to take a seat next to Amy.

Walking over to the back of the class you got a good look Amy. She pretty much fit the stereotype for one of those girls you see at a heavy metal concert. Her style is a pony tail, in the front it’s swept to the side covering one of her eyes. Her hair color jet black, with blood red dye mixed into streaks.

Her face heart shaped, with a sharp chin and thin cheeks. While her eyes are large, brown, with a heavy amount of eye shadow under them. She wears a tight black shirt with the sleeves ripped off, and the words Metaldeath on the front in a almost unreadable font. She appears to be 7,5 in height though it’s hard to tell as she is sitting down.

Her body is average with just a bit of muscle on her arms. Her breasts appear to be a pair of double dds, her nipples poking out the front of her shirt lead you believe she isn’t wearing a bra.
Her bottoms conceit of black ripped jeans, with black and white sneakers. For some accessories she had studded bracelets on each other her wrist, as well as a necklace with the symbol of Thor on the end. Her whole look makes it look like she going to be onstage at a metal concert after this. She is a bit intense looking, yet your not one to judge a book by its cover.

“Hi there.” You said taking a seat at the desk next to Amy

“Hey what’s up.” Amy said not looking up from the doodle she was drawing.

Looking down at the drawing you saw that it was a pretty impressive rough sketch of a snake inside the eyes sockets of a skull.

“That’s a pretty nice drawing.”

“Yeah uh, thanks.” Amy said hurriedly putting away the paper like you mentioning it actually reminded her she was in class now.

“My name is Doug your Amy right?” You said trying to sound as friendly as possible.

“Uh that’s me.” Amy said plainly looking disinterested in you even talking to her.

A bit of an awkward first impression you tried to keep the conversation going, and make just some general small talk.

“I haven’t seen you in class before, did you get your classes switched or something?” You asked.

“Actually I just moved into town with my family this is my first day of school.”

“Oh how do you like the town so far then?” You asked still trying to be as friendly as possible.

“Umm fine I guess.” Amy said as she yawned , and stretched her arms above her head.

Your silent for a minute, the conversation drying up as the two of you are now just sitting awkwardly next to each other, avoiding eye contact.

“So what are we doing right now..?” Amy asked tipping back in her chair nonchalantly.

“Oh we’er doing a scene from Romeo and Juliet.” You said

Amy closing her eyes, draped her head back over the headrest of her chair.

sigh Of course it’s god damn Shakespeare.”

“You don’t like Shakespeare?” You asked, kinda of confused as how you can be in theater, and not like one of the greatest play writes in history.

Amy shifts in her seat again now sitting up properly to face you, the subject matter of the conversation peeking her interest. You get the feeling that she is actually very passionate about theater, and just wasn’t in the is class because she thought it would be easy.

“Shakespeare is fine it’s just every one does his stuff to ****, like come on I bet ever one here already know Romeo and Juliet by heart already.”

That’s a valid point, Shakespeare’s plays have been explored so much it’s hard to find anything people don’t know about his works or the man himself.

“What would you want to do instead, if you had a choice then?” You asked

“I would like to make my own scene completely original, after all theater is part of art, and artists should create not repeat.” Amy said, a look of fire passion flashing in her eyes.

Huh those are some surprising wise words, maybe Amy has more to her then meets the eye.

“Will I can maybe ask Ms. Miles if she can switch the assignment, she’s usually pretty lax about what we’re actually supposed to be doing long as it has some effort put into.”

You getting up then walk over to Ms Miles’s desk where she’s sitting. You give a deliberate cough, and she looks up from her papers now noticing you standing there.

“Hey Ms. Miles. I was wondering if maybe me and Amy could write our own scene instead of doing the Romeo and Juliet scene?” You asked

“”Well if the two of you make something About the same length of the assignment I think I can allow that, just don’t do anything to over the line this isn’t sex Ed remember”. Ms. Miles chuckled.

“Okay thank you Ms. Miles.” You said heading back to your seat.

“”Attention class, I decided at the request of another student to change the assignment.” Ms. Miles said standing in front of her desk.

You hear one or two groans as a couple of eyes, shift over to you.

“Now, now, no grumbling, this change is strictly voluntary if you still want to do the Romeo and Juliet scene you are more the welcome to do so. But I also instead challenge you to write your own scene be creative, but remember keep it school appropriate please.”

“Huh cool.” Amy said giving you a approving smirk.

“So…. what kinda scene do you want to do?” You asked

What kinda of scene do the two of you come up with
