Amulet of Convincing

John’s eyes settled on a small ambulate the strung from the neck of a mannequin. Without a second thought he reached out and touched it. It was like his world spun for a moment the sales woman didn’t need to describe the power of the amulet as he now knew it’s power.

The sales woman turned around only for a brief moment and John slipped the Amulet on over his clothing. When the sales woman turned around John said, “You know this amulet would be better in my hands so you might as well just let me take it. I would keep the stone as well of course.” John held back a smile.

The sales woman’s expression went from shock for a moment to a nodding idle face. “Yes the amulet would be better in your hands take it along with your stone. Should you choose to trade that stone in the future I’ll be here watching…” she said followed by maniacal laughter. John found himself whisked up and back out into the alley.
