A few weeks had passed so deciding on a “bonding activity” for the family activity it was Alice who decided, “Football” she would screech and nodding Carlisle said, “Teams will be led by Bella and Alice” Alice nodded and flipping the coin smiled knowing she had won the toss, “Damian” Bella studied the group and knowing she needed an counterweight replied, “Emmett” “I will pick Rosalie” “I will pick Esme” Bella replied strategically to which Alice replied, “Jasper” “Carlisle” Bella continued with the mind games, “You can Nessie. You are going to need her” Bella smiled and throwing her the ball Alice said, “You will kick to us though” Bella nodded and slinging it to Emmett, Emmett cheered, “Going to be a long one!” “Get back Damian. It will be long” the ball went up in a thunderous thud and running back Emmett laughed as he responded, “Return that!”

A few moments later they heard a pair of feet run towards them and seeing Damian with the ball and watching Rosalie laughed at the collision that sent Emmett to the floor in a thud. Carlisle tried but bouncing off him Damian ran into the scoring zone. “6-0 me Bella” a quick conversion and kicking down to Bella she threw the ball to Emmett who running forward towards Jasper was instead met by Damian flinging him the floor, “First down!” Carlisle called. Bella made the call and watching the movement that each followed Damian stated at Bella who calling the play to pass it to Carlisle to run, Carlisle groaned feeling Damian grab his shirt and fling him into the tree, “Ease it big guy, just to the floor” Emmett joked watching Carlisle gingerly move into position. Bella next play was trying keep Damian away from the carrier so throwing it wide Carlisle made some distance before being met by another tackle again by Damian who by now felt like a truck hitting him head on at over 100 mph. He got up receiving a third this time was driven back dropped on his back as Damian used his body as way to pull himself back up. “Can you stop throwing it to me!” Carlisle cried getting up so throwing it Esme in hope they would get a first down Esme stared like a deer in the headlights at the sight of Damian spearing her practically in half.

A hour later and finishing the final play Esme watched as Damian charged again into Carlisle causing him to fall in a heap to the floor and getting up Carlisle snapped, “Stop fucking doing that!” “It’s part of the game!” and growling Carlisle snapped, “Not to the level that you are trying to hurt us. All because you aren’t with Esme and still harbour hatred for me!” “I don’t…” Damian replied and growing Esme spat, “Carlisle, don’t be stupid. You know he is going through some things!” “Not the point. He is bigger and stronger then us. He has to learn he can’t just be 100% all the time. People will get hurt!” “I wasn’t going 100%… I just was getting some stress out” “I know… I know it’s… never mind!”

“Yes never mind!” Bella interrupted and leading the cloaked figures to Damian, Jane smiled as she pulled her hood down, “We finally meet again!” “I thought I told your lot to back off!” Damian growled and nodding Jane replied, “I have been sent to deliver you a message that they agree and to ensure it’s maintained, I am to stay with you. As mentor, watcher and potentially lover!” “I don’t need you for any of them!” “This isn’t a choice!” “Tell Aro to come and deal with me personally then!” the wolf growled through Damian and sighing Alec responded with, “Look we aren’t that bad. It could be worse and unlike them lot we will take care of you, treat you like a brother” he looked at them and walking away Damian replied, “A word of advice then ‘brother’ if you are my family then don’t get close. Family members tend to die horribly around me!” and walking away Esme sighed encouraging the three figures inside, “I will explain on the way.”
