Ambushed by one of her court mages

While Morgan was waiting for the day to be over for one of her "sessions" with her personal maid Ingrid she first had to deal with the day's paperwork and reports. It was during this time she was visited in her office by one of her appointed court mages, Layla. Layla was from one of the nearby villages and had considerable amount of talent with magic and was eventually noticed by Morgan and taken in as a court mage.

"My queen if I may have a moment of your time?"

"What is it Layla? I have quite a bit of work to be done here."

"Would you mind taking a look at this my lady? I found it in the library and was wondering if you could shed some light on it."

With that Morgan looked up from her work only to gaze into what appeared to be a hypnotic pattern at the end of a pendant of some sort, Morgan was **** soon after.
