Ambush in the Rain

You and your group have been walking for quite some time. Nothing has come to pass while on the path. At this rate, you and the others will reach Silverhills by sunset. While walking, you notices the sky has been greying during the walk. Soon, you felt a drop on your nose, eventually, more came down, going into a downpour. Rachael and Kate's fur started to droop from the rain pelting them. "Aww, why rain?" Kate whines trying to futilely keep the rain from damping her fur. "Well, at least it's just rain. At least we're not in danger." Rachael tries to cheer them up.

Suddenly, your ears perk up as you hear a growl coming from somewhere. You three stop when they hear it. You turn towards your two companions. "Please tell me that was one of you two?" You ask them worryingly. Kate huddles towards you as she answers, "It wasn't me Rai.." Kate whimpers out as she clings to you out of fright. "I..It's probably just thunder." Rachael answers, not sounding convinced herself though. You turn towards her and stare in her bronze-colored eyes and ask, "From close by?!"

Out the bushes appears a flash of green rushing towards you! You grab your sister and leaped out of the the way. Rachael bounces up high and lands next to you. You get a view of a Breloom in front of you, by his side a Luxray, both male and both infected. You can't tell whether it's your soaked fur in the breeze or the sight of two infected in front of you, but a shiver ran down your spine.

A delighted mrrowwl came from the electric feline as approaches his prey. "Rachael, I need you to get Kate and run! I'll hold em off and catch up with you later!" You tell her that as you fight your fear down and gather electricity within your body. The Buneary looks at you with a shocked expression as she replies, "Are you crazy!? You can't take em both on yourself. I'm staying to fight!" "I don't want my sister here!" With that, Rachael says, "Kate! Run!" In the next moment, the squirrel dashes away in the opposite direction. "Rachael, I-" "NO! You're already injured from the previous fight. Let me help." You sigh, knowing she made up her mind. Be careful, Kate. You pleaded in your mind as you charge towards...
