Alventa was Hilda's old rival. They joined and broke off from the thieves' guild at about the same time. Hilda thought it would be fun to ease drop on Alventa constantly, beating her to every score she ever planned. Eventually Alventa has to lower herself to picking pockets to make ends meet.
