Alpha keeps working

“I’m not happy,” said Kim’s supervisor for the day, a stout redheaded dwarf woman.

“But I-”

“I don’t want to hear a peep out of you until the floors are sparkling clean, understand?”

Alpha was kneeling on the ground, a ragged cloth in her hand. “Can I get a mop at least? I’m not wearing panties today, and I’m afraid that if I clean like this then everyone will look at my ass.”

“Everyone has already done that.” Alpha blushed and looked down. Yeah, they did. She wasn’t happy about it. “Get to it! If you leave your post again or steal from our customers, I’ll make you clean the casino’s floor for the rest of the week.”

Alpha clicked her tongue. “Yeah… you don’t have that authority to order me to do that. Hell, tomorrow you won’t even be able to ask me for a toothbrush.”

“But today I do! Keep complaining and I’ll have you clean the floor with your toothbrush! Or your tongue!”

“Shesh, fine. The power kind of goes to your head, you know that?” Kim began scrubbing. On her knees and with her hands rubbing the cloth back and forth, her round posterior did indeed constantly peek out of her dress.

Kim tried to focus on her work to ignore the not-so-subtle side-glances that the creatures gave her when they passed by. She was making good progress and began cleaning next to a chilly door.

“ …tell him yourself. Morpheus is returning this afternoon.” That voice... It was one of the dream spirits! The door must be one of the many entrances to their realm. So big M was coming back, huh? Kim would probably have to give back the necklace when that happened, which meant that Alpha’s time was coming to an end.

That was just as well, the clone was tired of being Alpha Kim, and was longing to go back to being just regular old Kim. Speaking of, what kind of nightmare was she testing? Motivated by morbid curiosity, Alpha peeked inside. What she saw made her gasp in shock.

“Aaaah! I can’t believe this!” cried out Kim. “This movie isn’t even out yet, it’s like a, a…”

“Dream come true?” said the redheaded spirit.

“Yeah!” Kim was sitting cross-legged on a pillow in the front row of an empty cinema. A giant teddy bear was hugging her. Tubs of all flavors of ice cream laid at her feet and a variety of congratulatory medals hung from her neck. The three dream spirits were watching from behind and taking notes. “You know, I didn’t expect you to be so nice today.”

“Well, we do have to test dreams too.”

“And we are busy analyzing the data of the last batch of nightmares. It was a LOT.”

“So, yes. We figured you deserved a break.”

“Well, no complaints here! I’ll take whatever I can get.”

Alpha saw enough. She closed the door in silence. Betrayal! No wonder the original Kim was so agreeable, this was her plan all along. She even said so, she was going “dream” testing, not “nightmare” testing.

Such hypocrisy and **** of power! How could she? Or …how could I? Being a clone is confusing. What was clear, however, was Alpha’s heart. It was burning with a thirst for ****. She would teach herself a lesson or two.

Alpha stood up, passing the supervising dwarf on the way. “Hey, I thought about it and you are right. I’m being too harsh. Here’s your mop.”

“Save it. I’m skipping work!”

“What? You can’t do that! You know what I’ll make you do if-”

“Heard you loud and clear the first time. Be seeing you around soon.”
