Alone.... Late into the night

Jessica gasped back to consciousness.
She checked herself. Last thing she recalled was that patron's essence forcing its way down her throat. She seemed intact, outside of a sore and raw throat, trace amounts of the silvery essence still lingered aromatically to her lips, which she licked off without thinking.
She spent a few moments there, still laying on the ground where she woke up. Before sitting up. Despite her situation, she felt quite lively. The moon lit the street beyond the door and the night was quiet.
Jessica's belly grumbled, but she knew there was no time for food. Her poor aunt was probably worrying herself sick if she didn't get home soon. Still, hunger in her belly, Jessica pondered her options.
