Almost leaving

Both men had a long day and were tired. Brian looked like he wanted to say something, but couldn't really say it. Jonathan realized and quickly interceded as they entered alone in the elevator:

"What's the matter, Brian? Any of the cases got to you?"

"No... I was just wondering... nevermind"

"Spill it out, we've been friends for long enough, you can tell me whatever you feel like it"

"Well, I want to say I'm sorry. I didn't mean to stare at your... bulge, and..."

"Haha, man, I didn't care that much. More of a thing for you then me. You were just curious I guess."

"I wasn't curious, I just blanked out and..."
