As I tiptoed through the hallway, I could only think about how I would react if anyone found me wan during the halls in my underwear. Not wanting to figure out what would happen to me in that scenario, I kept as quiet as I could and kept close to the walls so that I could duck away and hide at a moment’s notice if need be. The hallways were quiet aside from the odd girl walking to the bathroom or teacher going to make some copies. I was able to hide behind corners and duck into bathrooms to avoid them without much incident. There was also the odd open classroom door that I had to make sure I sprinted past as to avoid lingering long enough for anyone to register what they were seeing.
After what felt like an eternity of sneaking around I was finally almost there. I turned the last corner and could finally see my locker. My heart was pounding from the experience but I was finally in the clear. I had made it to my locker and was just about to reach to enter my combination when I was frozen in my tracks
“You there!” A voice shrieked behind me, “what on earth do you think you’re doing!”
I turned to see who it was before turning white as a ghost.
