All three of them!

There was a time when the operator behind the haunted house would have had to pick and choose his victims one at a time, but that was no longer the case! So within the space of a few seconds, three things happened in rapid succession.

First, the vine by Mackenzie's foot rapidly curled itself around her leg. It traveled upward, looping itself around her leg several times before the tip came to a rest on her shorts. Mackenzie gasped at the sudden blur of motion, but was able to stop herself from screaming. The vine was gripping her leg tightly now. Not enough to hurt, but Mackenzie wasn't sure if she'd be able to pry it off herself.

Second, the petals of the large flower folded together, completely encasing Marianne as if she had been swallowed by a giant venus fly trap. She was so startled that she gave a quick shout as she was quickly trapped in near-darkness. Marianne pressed her hands against the petals surrounding her, and found they moved slightly, but she wasn't strong enough to pry them away completely.

Third, a snake dropped from the foliage and landed right on Willow's shoulders. It had no fangs and was only about three feet long, but that was still a lot of snake to suddenly have dropped on you. Willow shrieked and began frantically shaking her arms, hoping the animal would fall off. Instead, the snake coiled itself around Willow's neck in an attempt to not fall off. Willow began frantically dancing around, wanting the snake off of her, but not wanting to touch it.

"Willow!" Mackenzie shouted. "Just hold still! It'll go away on its own."

Willow gulped and abruptly stopped, freezing in place. "I hope you're right." she said nervously.

"Uh, gals?" came the muffled voice of Marianne from within the flower. "Not to interrupt but do you think you can help me out of this thing?"

"I'm a little stuck myself." Mackenzie said, "But don't worry, these are all some sort of animatronic plants. Heck, the snake probably is too! I'm sure they'll all retract and release us any second now."
