How does our story begin?
All revealed mechanics and cards for writers (Spoilers!)
This chapter is intended for writers only, and will spoil the story in any and all branches if you know what a card is before they read it. Read at your own risk!
It's a fairly simple game. You roll dice and move forward that many spaces, triggering the space you land on. Typically this will involve choosing from three of that card type. Orange spaces make up most of the board and are Challenge Spaces, giving you a challenge to complete. Succeed and get one of three Bonus Cards, fail and get one of three Punishments. Bonus cards are typically single use helpful effects that you can use, similar to a Get Out Of Jail Free card from Monopoly, but some of them come with a monkey's paw-y drawback. Green spaces are the next most common space type, Event Spaces. They give you a choice of three magic board game events, much like a certain movie called Jumanji. Teal spaces give you an item, which could be anything and gets promptly delivered to the player. Red spaces let you choose a punishment to add to yourself, same as losing a challenge, all of which give you some sort of embarrassing or detrimental effect to your real world modesty or outfit.
There's a few minor mechanics that I'm saving for later, but that's the general gist of it.
Here's an image of the board. I'll let the description speak for itself, but let it be known that it is subject to change on a whim if I think up anything fun to add to it. I'll update the image if there are any changes. If the characters have already passed a space, that is set in stone, but I reserve the right to change anything if it will improve the story. If any writers want a link to the google sheets I made it in, just ask and I'll hook you up. There are a few notes on some of the spaces. :)

Challenge Cards
- Around the House in Under Eighty Seconds - Timed Challenge. Do one lap around the outside of the house in less than eighty seconds. Exit and enter through the front door. Before stepping outside, strip down to your underwear.
- Backbone Blitz - Timed Challenge. Do five laps around the perimeter of the room in less than two minutes while giving the other players a piggyback ride.
- Balancing Act - Ongoing challenge. Until the dice read ten or more, you must stay on your toes. If at any point your heels touch the floor, the challenge ends in failure. There's a star at the bottom of the card.
- Cold Press - Challenge. Press your bare breasts into every window in the house. Each press must last thirty seconds and you must be witnessed through the glass. In each cardinal direction, a different person must be the witness.
- Junction Jumper - Challenge. Do fifty jumping jacks in the middle of a street intersection. Be careful of traffic!
- Lunar Landing - Co-op challenge. Choose another player to be your challenge partner. They must throw an object from at least ten feet away for you to catch on your bare butt. You must catch it without the use of your hands and it must stay up without falling for ten seconds. You have ten throw attempts. Rewards are shared.
- Office Chair Accessible - Timed Challenge. Tie yourself to an office chair and do a lap around the block within five minutes. Use clothes you are currently wearing as rope, and your arms must be restrained. You can not be propelled by anyone else. Your time starts as soon as you are secured in your seat in the driveway and ends when you return to the same spot after scooting around the block.
- Under Achiever - Challenge. The other players hold up a pole that you must limbo under. Starting at forehead height and lowering by one hand at a time, you must succeed five times.

(Some cards and challenges can have a "+", which we have yet to know what that means. Some challenges can have their names slightly changed, and the card will have a "Twist!" where something is changed slightly.)

- Needing to spin 360 degrees after each jumping jack in Junction Jumper.
Bonus Cards
- Flash Forward - Bonus Card. With a quick flash, you dash ahead of the other players. Roll an extra die this turn.
- Fray the Fabric of Time - For the next three turns, double all timers for challenges and events you are a part of. Every borrowed second pulls another thread loose on the fabric of time.
- Grace Period - You dodge fate, avoiding punishment for the moment. But beware, for fate is vengeful and your next punishment will be taken up a level.

Punishment Cards
- As Above, So Below - Rule Punishment. In life, the sky mirrors the earth. In the same way, perfect harmonious symmetry must be maintained on either side of your vestimentary equator.
- Continental Drift - Punishment. The slow, inevitable, parting drift of the continents now takes hold of a once close and parallel pair. Only vigilance can keep the spreading at bay.
- Descending Dilemma - Punishment. Gravity is not your friend. Try as you might, its inevitable pull drags everything southward.
- Hands-on Collision - Punishment. You are a magnet for awkward moments. Every crossed path risks an unintended full-body mix-up—intimate entanglements that lead hands and eyes into scandalous territory.

- Loot Goblin - Punishment. If presented with the opportunity, you can’t keep your hands off of any nearby booty.
- Oops-a-Daisy - Punishment. You will fumble even the simplest tasks into an unintentional comedy of errors.
- Oops-a-Daisy+ - Punishment. You will spectacularly fumble even the simplest tasks into an unintentional comedy of errors.
- Positive Patty - Rule Punishment. Pessimism will be penalized. Fabrics hear your tone, and they prefer cheery company. To them, complaints, snark, and sarcasm are akin to scissors across thread.
- Wind Advisory - Punishment. The world tilts just so, and suddenly the very air itself plays favorites. Drawn to you, it lifts, flutters, and billows with uncanny devotion at every opportunity.
