It was a no brainer chances are dueling could make or break you out of your family name and wash away the taint your name carried as many former champions you had read about had cleared or even transitioned family names from the Koch and Wesson families to the legendary Remington family known for making mass **** weapons of **** in the non-magical world to that of high esteem and prestige and the magical world not to mention being a champion alone covered more than just the bills as the pay was insane!

You smiled before you replied “Yes headmaster if it’s not to much trouble on your end I would like to accept all of their offers if it wouldn’t inconvenience you.”

In reply the headmaster simply grinned before speaking “My boy if there is something you must know it’s that any paperwork for you is minuscule and easy compared the heathens your peers generate for me. Run along now you still have a winter break to enjoy and I have Coaching visas I have find and fill out but I will send for you when I hear back from those coaches.”

As you stood before the headmaster a thought came to mind about your elemental affinity it wasn’t fire, water, earth, lightning, or even wind but instead it was the void something that amazed even you since you were the fifth void elementalist in history according to the twins.

Curiosity ate at you before you spoke once more “Headmaster who were the previous void elementalists before me?” At your words the headmaster smiled before replying “The first void elementalist was Roh'demus Eldric one of the four founders of Ash Forest Academy he helped build and establish the House of Wyvern along with influencing the societal norms of wizarding world.”

“The second void elementalist was Leanan Ó Gealbháin an intellectual and wizarding prodigy he was the man who established the elemental test with the grey liquid we use today and was the first to recognize that the void was not just an element to be used and wielded but theorized that it is a space between the light and the dark in our world.”

“The third was Naseera el-Salam a poor woman growing up in the Middle East she is famous for championing women’s rights in the wizarding world and was the first to theorize that void elementalists do not die rather they are taken back once more into the void rather than to die like normal wizards or witches.”

“The fourth was Jean-Marc Lecerf a renowned French Physicist his work into the void took him to the void for the first and only time in recorded history proving Leanan Ó Gealbháin‘s theory that the void was not just an element or the absence of element but rather a place as well. He also was the first to discover that a void elementalist can walk the thin line between the light and the darkness where the void resides and thus no longer be bound by the laws of physics.”

“The fifth void elementalist and your predecessor for over a 100 years before you came along Mr. Blackthorn was Dr. César Rodríguez he was the first wizard to discover the light and the darkness as we know it today and the only known wizard to utilize both light magic and the dark arts with deadly efficiency.”

The headmaster stared at your confused face before continuing. “Dr. César Rodríguez was the first wizard to discover how to wield dark and light magic together at the same time as many others before and after him have failed some speculate that because of his connection to the void being just between the light and the dark he was able to wield both and had a theory that past void elementalists could speak to each other even past **** and further was the first to create and demonstrate the first example of bloodline magic in his case storm magic a mixture of wind, water, and lightning magic and is the only one to ever show such a kind of magic.”

You stared in shock as you absorbed what the headmaster had said before he continued “So needless to say Nathan you quite frankly have a lot of potential coming from lines of these great wizards and witch your future will be closely watched and it’s ultimately up to you whether you will make or break the wizardry world as we know it”

With those words of advice you nodded budding the headmaster a simple “goodbye” before leaving his office.
