Alicia suggests something else.

"Erica, wait!" Alicia called after her. Against her better judgement, Erica stopped at the door and waited for Alicia to continue. "I don't want to go swimming right now." Erica groaned in annoyance. Carrie was the one who was on the swim team with Lisa, not Alicia. It was not surprising that she would try to shoot down the suggested pastime.

"I'm bored!" Carrie reiterated.

Erica gestured at Carrie as if to say, "I'd already solved this. What are you doing?"

Alicia raised her hands in a placating gesture. "It's fine. Let's just do something else."

Erica was wary about letting Alicia choose what they could do, but waited patiently for her to make a suggestion.
