Alicia doesn't answer the door.

It was possible that her friend was sleeping in. Erica decided to leave a quick note on the white board next to Alicia's door. She could come check if Alicia had woken up in 30 minutes.

Erica started to go back to her own room down the hall. Then she stopped and decided to wait for Alicia in the common area. The TV was definitely larger than her laptop screen and the amenities available to students in the common area were much more comfortable than anything she had in her room.

Moving back the way she came, Erica plopped down on one of the sofas and tried to find the remote for the TV. When she couldn't find it, flopped back on the sofa in frustration.

The common area was cozy and warm, and Erica just wanted to lie down. "Just for 5 minutes," she said to herself. Readjusting herself, Erica lay her head down on a throw pillow and quickly drifted off to sleep.
