Alexa is sent to bed

"Now go to your room," Alexa's mom said. "I put pajamas out for you. I want you to go straight to bed. Do you understand? Straight to bed. If I come up there and you're not there, I'll spank you."

Alexa whimpered but nodded. She rushed up the stairs not bothering to touch her towel as she did. She ran to her room and looked to see what her mother left out for her.

Her eyes bulged as she looked at what was on her bed.
