Alex, the bride's petite and spunky younger sister

"Well," you say, "based on that twinkle in your eyes, I can see something is up. So, I choose...Alex. Tell me a secret about your sister."

"My younger sister," Sara teases.

"Your spunky and nubile younger sister," you tease back. Sara swats at your hand from across the table.

"I figured that you would choose Alex," Sara says. She laughs, then takes a big gulp to empty her beer. "Go get us another round and then I'll tell you Alex's secret."

When you come back to the table, Sara has a devious look in her eyes. You hand her the beer. She immediately drinks.

"Well now," you say, "what's my secret?"

"Alex's secret," Sara corrects. "You know always had a crush on you when we were dating, right?"

"She was like 13," you say. "But it sounds right."

"Alex is an adult now, in college," Sara says. "And Alex's secret—your secret—is that she asked my permission to hook up with you at the wedding." Sara drinks from her beer. "If you're up for it, of course."

Sara arches one eyebrow and waits for you to do, or say, something.
