Aletheia betrayed

"It's over Otso Berg!" Layla spat holding the staff tightly in her hand, "I am the Heir of Memories! I am immortal!" William along with Rebecca and Shaun watched on concerned by Layla's sudden change in personality which had started since she received the staff and watching on as Layla felt the staff stop interacting with her saw Berg. Otso Berg coughed wheezing before spitting out blood barked, "You think that! You are delusional" he laughed before looking up clutching the wound in his chest spoke, "Laying here it has just occurred to me who is!" Aletheia stood there and eyes widening spoke, "No it can't be!" "What?" Aletheia stopped and seeing the golden lined man holding the glowing sword heard, "I am!" Layla growled before shaking her head growled, "No! No! No! Aletheia said..." "Aletheia isn't a mathematician, ask her... ask her what makes her qualified in these matters! Hermes made the staff! Ask yourself this...why would the Isu let any old human wield the staff? They wouldn't, they waited for a Isu born human from their realms to wield their devices!" "No...Talaipora, don't do this; she needs it!" "Don't worry I won't let him take this from me!" I held the sword and laughing spoke, "Kassandra, my lover; screwed you over...hacked into it to stop this from ever happening. After what you made her live her through she made it so that I will control it not you!" "No! No! No!" Layla snarled swinging the spear and dodging it I used the sword to blow her back in a golden light and looking down at the blood flow from her head cried, "Aletheia why aren't I healing?" the hologram looked down before studying it then me spoke, "His weapon is more powerful than yours and therefore outranks yours and his damage is permanent!"

Layla screeched swinging again but sweeping her leg stabbed the sword down into her arm sending the staff rolling over the floor away from her and pushing my hand out felt the spear connect to me feeling the pull to each other and as she looked over to see me pick the staff up, "Why?" I crouched down be retrieving my sword spoke, "Didn't you learn anything from Atlantis? No? In the wrong hands it could destroy the world. You were becoming corrupt, Otso was right, you shouldn't have it" "But..." I looked over to see Otso Berg look over and seeing Layla clutch at my leg I spoke, "Shame really...You could have been soo much more! but now it's time reveal my secret!" I looked down at Berg who pulling himself to a weak sitting position asked, "Is she?" "Your daughter is safe and I fixed her little problem with a shroud of Eden plus some stem cells from Isu tissue so fix the deformities as I promised!" "You know each other?" Layla crooked and smiling Shaun spoke, "Berg is his great grandson, isn't he?" I nodded lowering the staff to Bergs wound as he put his hand on it and seeing the wound heal I pulled him to his feet, "He has Scandanavian Human with Isu blood in him, I met Lagertha years back when Kassandra was away for a few decades and we fell in love, there were twins but the human in them made one weak as the second remained strong!" "I thought you were together for the 2 1/2 millenniums?" Rebecca challenged and nodding I spoke, "We were for the most part but this was one of the few times that we weren't!" I looked over to the tunnel and seeing the girl run towards Otso Berg free from any disability or discomfort he hugged her, "I told you to not bring her here!" "I know but she told me to ensure you came back I had no other choice, especially since you don't want the Templar's taking her!" he nodded and looking at him he nodded covering the girls eyes as I dug the spear through Layla's chest and twisting it before immediately retracted it to look at the Assassin's and Aletheia, "Hear this: if the Assassin's, Templar's or Isu bother or touch Elina, I will kill you that isn't a threat but a promise!"

It was then when the troopers walked in brandishing the Templar logo's on their battle gear, "Stigma team stand down!" Berg barked and seeing the one walk forward pressing the button to their visor and groaning Berg spoke, "Victoria, I should have known!" "Know her?" he nodded before saying, "The Grand master of Grand masters! She is the top ranking Templar!" "Talaipora we have been waiting for you for year to research and the Assassin's here to? perfect!" she spoke and snorting I spoke, "Really, well I can't say the same thing about you! Berg you know what this means; shared blood, shared DNA!" he nodded and pulling the Hades Executioner from it's holder I spoke, "Take this!" when he took it the red edged blade glowed as we readied ourselves before looking at the Assassin's spoke, "You may want to get behind us, this is going to get bloody very quickly! Rebecca right?" the dark haired lady nodded causing me to say, "Protect Elina! at all cost, no matter the side that you are on; she is innocent!" William picked the sword the up and standing by Otso spoke, "Agreed!" and flicking his wrist with his free hand. The guards lined their guns up causing me to slam the staff down into the ground making the team fall back so drawing their small blades, tasers or truncheons and nightsticks charged, I thrusted the spear forward and taking out the nearest guards who tried to circle us saw William stab the nearest guard whilst Shaun picking up a nightstick joined in the fighting.

Otso Berg swung seeing the Isu lines faintly appear on his body and when the last few fell down Victoria backed away begging to be spared and looking to Berg he shook his head, "I had one condition, don't you ever put my daughter in any danger and you broke it! Assassin's do your thing!" William nodded sticking his blade into her throat and looking down at her listened to her last words, "What now? You have the staff, Otso Berg can't return to the Templar's and we have this here!" Shaun queried and kneeling to his daughter heard her speak, "Thank you Uncle Damian!" I nodded before putting my hand on her shoulder spoke, "I will always protect you now that I've found you!" "What will you do?" Aletheia spoke and looking up her I spoke, "Do what Kassandra sought to do; to stop Isu for ruin humans life's, to fight for good and to correct the world but for now...there is a certain dark haired lady I would like to talk to!" she turned to me and winking she spoke, "I would love to talk to you!" taking my arm and William to his former enemy said, "You'd better stay with us, then we will find you a place to hide, they will come after you both!" "I know and now I fight my former friends for my daughter!" "It's a selfish but worthy cause!" I spoke and venturing my hand to Rebecca's waist she eyed me up suspiciously but smiling did the same, "Come on Aletheia, you are connected to me!" and vanishing into the staff we walked away together as Elina pulled my trouser leg and whispering into my ear I nodded before putting her on my shoulders continued leaving the bodies inside of the site.
