Alessandra charges forward

“Too slow”, she thinks grinning, as she rushes towards the two goons, throwing her crowbar first at the one pointing the light at her. He reflexively ducks, moving the light off her, and she rolls on the ground as the other goon shoots blindly.

The shot barely makes any noise, just some kind of static discharge. “Taser?”, Alessandra thinks, as she has now closed the distance and delivers an uppercut at the taser guy, knocking him back.

The flashlight guy grabs her from behind, but she just laughs off at the feeble attempt, easily breaking the hold and throwing the goon overhead. The flashlight falls to the floor and switches off, enveloping the corridor in darkness.

She moves forward and kicks towards the point the goon she just threw fell, and is well rewarded as her foot connects with the goon's head with a loud thud.

She turns around, trying to pinpoint the taser-goon in the dark. “Why aren't they talking?”, she notes.

She thinks she can hear him crawling away and moves that way, trying to catch him, only to bump into someone big. “A third one? Where did he come from?”, she wonders as a powerful punch strikes her chest, winding her.

She rolls away on the floor, grimacing in pain and her hand touches a metal item. “The crowbar!”, she realizes, as she grabs it and moves to the side, when she hears heavy footsteps coming her way.

The big-goon, as she named him in her mind, rushes past her and Alessandra strikes, aiming at where she thinks the back of his knee would be.

Her blind swing connects, and big-goon crashes on the floor, still making no sound. Alessandra wastes no time swinging the crowbar again, this time dropping him completely.

“Big-goon just became Sleeping-goon number two!”, she laughs. At that moment she feels a pair of pinpricks on her side and immediately realizes that in the moment she forgot about taser-goon!

She moves quickly to rip the electrodes out, but before she can, an electrical discharge seizes her body and she drops to the floor.
