Standing guard at the mouth of the cave are four Red Door thugs. You can’t help but get the feeling that this is the direct result of the flair earlier.

You take a prayer scroll from your pack, holding it in front of you as you chant your divine words. You can see your ancestral spirit guardians starting to take shape within the prayer scroll. Making sure you have the right somatic gestures made you throw the prayer scroll up and strike it with an open palm, pushing the spirit guardians from the scroll out into your into realty. You slowly walk towards them, and the moment they see you, you mutter a few more divine words under your breath and evoke your spiritual weapon, pummeling one of the guards against the cave wall and instantly ending his life.

The other 3 guards let out a primal war cry as they all rush towards you. Your spirit guardian was able to grant one of the three guards their last breath, but two of them still got through. One pierces you with their spear, while the other slices open your skin from your left shoulder down to just a couple of inches above the elbow. Annoyed. You dismissively swing your mace towards one of the guards as a feint, then quickly back around at the other guard, who was certain you were not attacking him, could not react at all, and just stood there taking your mace to their face before the curmbled onto the floor.

Normally, you’re not one to chase after those who flee in fear, but here, all mercy will do is cause the thugs in here to be alerted to your presence. With a gesture and a thought, your spiritual weapon flies to the coward and introduces him to his cowardice maker.
