The female main protagonist/Survey Corps member depending on the choices in the game. Regardless, she's implied to be related to Dawn from Sinnoh in some way, whether she is her just sometime after the events of her games and then sent back in time or related to her as an ancestor is subject for debate. As a Survey Corps member, she's awfully sarcastic though she's a nice person and pretty devoted to helping you and the local professor, Laventon. Guess you could say she's the light of Rei and Laventon's ventures.
