Aicha gets things together

On the other side of the world, Aicha let out a deep breath.

As it would turn out, finding someone who would buy her house was easier said than done. While the population of women in Saudia Arabia had rapidly increased in the past couple days, the rules in regards to property were still the same as before.

But things were looking up, if the rumors were true about planned rule changes.

"Soon." she told herself, letting out a chuckle.

For today, she had gone for a dull green hijab and long dress. It felt right to an extent. A light breakfast and lunch already occurring, the possibilities of dinner was just around the corner.

As for her home, that was mostly packed. Boxes of all kinds had been scattered about, waiting transport to Rabiah's home in Minneapolis.

"She's such a gal." Aicha thought, memories of their time together flooding back in. They had met on some online forum, where Rabiah (then Rose) had asked about Islam and becoming a Muslim.

Message by message, they had hit it off. At some point, she had suggested to Rose to come to Saudia Arabia. It had been a bit of a push, but an effective one now that she thought about it.

The time they had spent together was well worth it.

Now, Rabiah had completed her Hajj and had headed home, with Aicha promising to move overseas as soon as she could manage too.

Which was where they both sat at the moment. Or would've, if Aicha's phone began ranging. Scrambling over to the device, she picked it up.

"Hello?" she greeted, listening to the person for the moment. "Really? I would be happy to accept that offer."

This felt too good to be true. But when opportunity comes knocking, you take it.

"Okay... So a couple weeks? Sounds good."

Ending the call, Aicha couldn't believe her good luck in that moment. This had to be some mistake. There was no way that an offer would come in right as she was thinking about it. Right?

Nonetheless, she began dialing.

One Ring. What, you were expecting

Two Rings.

"Hello, my dear." Rabiah greeted, getting a chuckle from Aicha in return. A deep breath seemed to follow. This was quite some big news, the sort that's quite hard to believe.

"My house sold." Aicha announced, the sound of Rabiah dropping her phone echoing in the background. She managed to catch it, thankfully.

"That's wonderful."

A smile formed on her face.

"I'll see you in a couple weeks then."
