“So,” Lauren began nervously, “all I would have to do is just act like a baby whenever we’re in public together?”

“Not just in public,” Rachel explained, “but whenever we invite people over to our new home as well.”

“And what would that entail, exactly?” Lauren asked, letting out and audible gulp.

“Oh, you know,” Cassandra explained, “talking like you’re a baby, drinking from a bottle, sucking on a pacifier, sucking your thumb, not caring if you’re only wearing a diaper and nothing else, using your diapers; the whole nine yards.”

“And when it’s just the three of us at our new place, I can simply be myself? No babying, no diapers; just me?” Lauren asked, making sure she understood the situation completely.

“That’s right.” Rachel confirmed with a nod. As Lauren lowered her head to think, Rachel smirked at Cassandra, who nodded knowingly.

Lauren thought about this carefully. She most certainly did not want to keep pretending that she was an infant in front of strangers! However, she definitely didn’t want to go down in criminal history as the Ice Queen turned Baby Girl either; she could almost imagine the laughter and mockery she would receive, never mind the nickname they would give her. And if they decided to drop her back off at Karen’s house…

Lauren shuddered. She did not want to imagine THAT scenario! As much as it pained her to admit it, the first option was the safest bet. However, it didn’t make it any less humiliating. Lauren hung her head with a sigh. “Okay, I’ll do it.” She said.

“Do what?” Cassandra asked, a smirk on her face.

“I’ll…be your baby.” Lauren muttered quickly, her face going red.

“What was that?” Cassandra asked, her smirk turning into a full-blown smile.

“I said, “I’ll be your baby’!” Lauren snapped. “Are you happy now?!”

“Ecstatic!” Cassandra said as she and Rachel laughed, pulling into the driveway of what would soon be their former place of residence.
