The moment the bell rings, you charge toward your opponent, and her eyes go wide as you immediately go on the offense. She doesn’t react fast enough to stop you from barreling into her, driving her back into the ropes. She lets out an “oof” as the two of you collide.

“A strong opening from John,” the announcer comments, watching you get ready to press your attack.

“Sorry, Melody,” you whisper to her, “but I’ve gotta win this.”

She nods and braces herself to defend against you. “We’ll see about that,” is her only reply.
