Agatha Harkness

The woman standing in front of the door was beautiful, with long, black hair with a single grey streak, and wearing a nice purple dress. She looked at Sue with concern, saying “I thought I recognized you. Is something wrong?”

“Well, it's a bit difficult to explain,” Sue replied, trying to keep her naked body out of sight. “Don't worry about me, Miss...?”

The woman tilted her head a bit in confusion, before saying, “Oh, right, you weren't there. Well, allow me to re-introduce myself: Agatha Harkness, at your service.”

Sue just looked at the woman in shock, thinking to herself, No, no way. That isn't-

“Yes, the same Agatha that babysat little Franklin,” she continued, “it's a long story. Basically, there was a big mystical threat, it was beaten, and I managed to drain some of its energy, bringing me back to my physical prime.”

Sue replied, “Huh, lucky you.”

Agatha smiled. “Yes, lucky me. Now, can you tell me what's been going on with you? I know it's been a long time, but I believe we are still friends after all.”

Thinking it over, Sue decided it wouldn't hurt, and explained her current situation.

”Oh, dear,” Agatha said solemnly, “this is certainly an embarrassing situation you've got yourself in.”

Sue rolled her eyes, saying “You don't have to tell me twice. Even after, what, five minutes, my clothes are still invisible. I'm a little surprised none of the staff have come to check what's wrong.” She sighs in frustration. “And now, I'm stuck here, unless I wanna risk being seen naked.”

Agatha looked on, a finger on her chin, before she snapped her fingers. She said, “Actually, Susan, I may have something on hand that can help.”

“Wait, really?”

Agatha shook her head, putting her hand through a tiny portal, feeling for something. “Now, since I'm giving you this, I hope you don't mind if I asked you for a favor in the future.”

“Sure,” Sue replied, though she wasn't sure she had much choice.

Agatha smiled, before pulling out a bracelet from the portal. It was silver, entwined with a few glowing purple gems.

“Now, this bracelet here allows the wearer to, shall we say, filter out a few things from the conscious minds of everyone within a small radius. In your case, it can make it so that no one around you even realize that you're naked.”

Sue was a little impressed, but she couldn't help but ask, “So, what's the catch?”

Agatha smiled, again. “Clever girl. Firstly, it only lasts for about two and a half hours before it needs to recharge.

“Second, if someone already knows about your condition, it won't work on them.

“Last, but not least, it only really works on organic beings, so robots and the like will see right through it.”

She then extended her hand, offering the bracelet to Sue. “So, do you want to try it out?”
