Aftermath - Rodrik´s son

Liandra returned home a heroine, for that dark forest had long been considered a great threat to the kingdom, and the valiant sacrifice made many knights, priests and wizards swear they wouldn't rest until it was cleared. They failed, but that is a tale for another night.

Rodrik was recognized for his valor, and granted the title of a knight. Sir Rodrik continued to faithfully serve the crown for many years. Of the three adventurers, nothing else is known.

Liandra carried Rodrik´s child, and he stood by her side when the outraged Prince Mortimer decried her shame. Although the kingdom of Luxius was willing to fight, Liandra convinced Rodrik that the two should submit to Prince Mortimer, and hope there was some mercy in his heart. There wasn't any.

Rodrik was hanged for treason, and Liandra became Mortimer´s personal ****. Liandra had a son that Mortimer raised as his own, and that would eventually become one of the most formidable Knights in the entire kingdom.

There were several wars, and several alliances. Peace never lasted for more than a couple of years. But Liandra´s son proved to be the wind that would change the tide of battle. He conquered half of the known kingdoms, and under his tyrant fist there would finally be lasting peace.
