Chapter 13 by SingingLark SingingLark

But the real question is... who is the father?

Aftermath - Nariel´s baby girl

Liandra returned home a heroine, for that dark forest had long been considered a great threat to the kingdom, and the valiant sacrifice made many knights, priests and wizards swear they wouldn't rest until it was cleared. They failed, but that is a tale for another night.

Rodrik was recognized for his valor, and granted the title of a knight. Sir Rodrik continued to faithfully serve the crown for many years. Of the three adventurers, nothing else is known.

Liandra carried Nariel´s child, but elven pregnancies are usually very long, and the round belly doesn't show until more than half of it was past. By then Liandra´s unusual sex drive was well known to Prince Mortimer, and he believed it his own. Liandra´s baby girl took after her mother, and the slight fey beauty wasn't noticed until she was in her teens.

Queen Liandra had several affairs, with the meek and the powerful. Rumors were plentiful, but as nothing could ever be proven, King Mortimer spent most of his reign in a mix of paranoia, shame and sexual bliss. The queen took particular delight in assaulting the king´s rear entrance whenever she serviced him, and he eventually learned to accept his best orgasms came this way. unfortunately no one had much respect for a cuckold king that liked to take it in the rear, so Mortimer never got the following he wanted to attack Nocternia.

King Mortimers end came when he finally got undeniable proof of the Queen´s affairs; he found Queen Liandra, Sir Rodrik, Count Halmar and a sprite in the throes of passion. So great his anger that he attacked all of them, but he wasn't a match for any.

Queen Liandra never married again, and her reign was specially blessed, for she trusted capable advisors while she busied herself with erogenous pursuits.

The End
