After the woman left
‘Well she was a bundle of joy’ you said sarcastically after the woman had departed.
‘She was just doing her job. I imagine the girls family would be frantic trying discover the status of their daughter’
‘Considering Yarah was pronounced dead by the paramedics, they are probably thanking Allah that you are alive’ The doctor noted. ‘Perhaps you need to do a crash course in Arabic. It sound like she is going to send some of Yarah’s friends around’
‘Surely if they are students here they will know English?’ questioned Sarah
‘Most likely’ the Doctor agreed. ‘There is actually a precedent of patients losing a language after significant brain trauma, but it wouldn’t hurt to learn a few Arabic words’
‘Do they have Arabic on Duolingo?’ asked Sarah. Sarah had a gift for languages. She already spoke French and Spanish. ‘I could try learning as I’m lying around recovering’
‘Good idea’ you replied. ‘I’ll bring your iPad in tomorrow morning’
“Speaking of tomorrow morning. Can I suggest we leave Sarah or should I say Yarah to rest. She is recovering from a significant trauma’ Doctor Saunders was addressing you.

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
