After the War

The Battle of Hogwarts was a great battle that went down in history. The battle that Harry Potter destroyed the old ways of blood purity forevermore. That old world kept taking from Harry and in a burst of rage had taken it back. Thus inside Grimmauld Place in the sitting room Harry sat as he had gotten Kreacher to actually clean the place using the fact he helped him fulfill Regulus's last order to him.

The place was spotless now as Harry had a small bit of music playing in the background. Just then he heard the tapping of shoes coming his way causing Harry to smile to this. He then had his eyes covered by a new arrival as Harry knew what this was.

"Guess who." A familiar woman said and in turn Harry smiled to this.

"Is this... Hermione?" Harry asked with a tone of mock curiosity and thus Hermione chuckled.

Letting go of his eyes Hermione went to Harry and kissed him on the cheek. "That's right love." Hermione said as she joined Harry in the room. During the War Hermione had the brilliant idea to turn the taboo on Voldemort's name against him. Utilizing Guerilla Warfare, the pair had singlehandedly taken the **** Eaters down by over half their original forces. Hermione had even managed to recruit her parents knowing her father's own military history. That in itself came as a shock when Hermione found her charm had come undone and her parents reveal their own checkered past in a Military Black Ops Strike Unite. Using her parents' own connections Harry and Hermione were eventually able to end the war.

Voldemort's old wand now stood as a trophy for Harry snapped and on display. Harry thought it was overkill, but he kept the wand as a reminder not to let such bigotry rise again and allow it to flourish to the way it did. "So Hermione what is on the agenda today?" Harry asked to the soon to be Mrs. Potter. While he had not proposed yet Harry and Hermione had been going strong since the end of the war when she dumped Ron after he came back. Hermione made it clear that Ron and she would NEVER be anything more than friends if he behaved himself. After he ran off on them in a fit of rage Hermione had enough of Ron's actions.

"Well, we are expecting a knock on the door soon." Hermione said being vague about it. After the war Harry and Hermione were NOT tight on money. Forcing the **** Eater families to pay restitutions had allowed the pair to build up a fortune, spoils of war some would call it. Harry did not trust the Ministry to handle it correctly, so he took it and kept a close eye on it to avoid future bribes if able.

"Yes, you've been talking about that for some time, what is it?" Harry asked curious as to what it might be. All Hermione did was smile to Harry suggesting she had plans. Just then a knock was heard on the door getting the pairs attention.
