After school

Nobody else makes any wishes in Amanda's hearing and rest of the day passes uneventfully. Amanda wishes the day would just hurry up and end already but the clock continues to tick along at a stately one second per second causing her no end of frustration. What's the use of magic powers if you can't use them on yourself?

Eventually, the bell rings for the end of lessons and she hurries to meet up with her friends. Thr three of then walk the short distance to Sarah's house.
