"This… tower… goes on… forever… ugh.” You almost stumble after complaining there. It has been what, 10 or so floors? Maybe more? You lost count. You just know that you kept going. You ate every single berry you could find, both because you were tired and because you were hungry. The water you saw didn’t work to wash off the sweat, it just stays in place and if you put your hand on it is as if you were pushing down some kind of jello. the water tension doesn’t break, there are no droplets, the water doesn’t adhere to you or something like that. You’re ranting now, but that’s okay. It is better than just the silence of this place and the eternal gray. You don’t like the silence, but you feel it is better than when you actually hear sounds, because that means Pokémons are around. You've had to fight, floor after floor, for every single floor after the rest room or whatever it was. Just, battle after battle, each floor has had at least 3 fights happen. The fights got easier as you went down though, maybe you’re getting used to what fighting is like? You don’t know if that is a good or bad thing. Well, a good thing about it is that you discovered another move you can do. You have no idea what move it is, but it is strong. Very strong. You ended up in a room that suddenly had lots of Pokémon appear. It was awful, they weren’t as tough as the Metagross you fought first but you got hit a lot because you couldn’t pay attention everywhere. You were desperate, you wanted to get rid of all of them, you wanted them to just…

STOP.

… and then it happened. You felt a lot of power coursing through you, you could feel the power flowing in your body, every single drop of it, every single drop of energy and you felt it gather in front of your mouth. You saw a small sphere appear and then you fired a big beam of energy onto one of them. Not wanting to waste the opportunity you moved your head, and thus the beam, over to all the other Pokémon in the room. You could swear you saw parts of the world regain a bit of color around the beam, but they would fade back to gray immediately after. After that attack you were exhausted. You couldn’t move properly until you rested for a bit. The Pokémon disappeared after being beaten, like all the others, but you thought you saw some of them frozen in place, some vibrating and some moving super slow. Considering the strength of the attack, how you felt afterwards, the possible effects it had and what you are now, you think it is safe to assume that the attack is somehow time related.

Aside from that you discovered how to do Dragon Pulse. The energy felt the same as when you used Dragon Claw so it must be that. It only came out when you tried to imitate that attack you used in that room but without all that energy. And there is also Ancient Power. You know it is that move because of the levitating rocks and the energy around them. That one came out by accident when you were caught by surprise by a Pokémon in a hall. Sneaky bastard somehow got behind you.

You’ve been paying attention to how each move feels, and even tried repeating them a few times so you think you can do them again if needed, but now you don’t want to fight anymore. Even if the fights became easier, even if the enemies became weaker or somehow you got stronger, it was still way too much. Aside from all that, the only thing that happened was the tingly feeling after defeating a Pokémon. You don’t know what it is, and at one point you felt a rush rather than tingles, but that was it. Anyways you’re ranting to yourself too much, you can see… light? Is that actually light? You move your heavy legs towards it as fast as you can.

When you got close enough to it you saw that it wasn’t light, it was just more illuminated outside than inside. But also, you got out of the tower! Finally! You feel like you could drop on the floor and sleep for a whole day now. Still, you’re not out of danger yet, you don’t think so at least. Looking around you see that there’s mostly just ground around you, ground, rocks, a Pokémon looking at you weirdly, more rocks…

You sigh, you really, really wanted to ignore that Pokémon, but if they wanna fight then you will give them a fight. Looking at them they appear to be a Dusknoir, They look pretty much like in the game, but a bit more human like like all the other Pokémon inters you saw. Well, Dusknoirs were already kind of human looking so it makes sense. The main difference you can see is that they have toned pecs and arms, but their belly is big. Also they aren’t as round as in the games. You position yourself and ready a Dragon Claw when the Dusknoir surprises you by speaking.

“W-w-wait! Creator! I-it’s me! Dusknoir!” What. Creator? And they called themselves the type of Pokémon that they are? They can talk though so… maybe you can get some answers.

“Who… are you?” If they surprised you by speaking then you returned the favor tenfold it seems, because they did such a double take that you feel everything they knew was a lie or something. “You called yourself Dusknoir, and me ‘Creator’. What do you mean?” You are still wary, this place is clearly dangerous.

“O-of course I’d call you Creator! You made me! I’m your loyal servant!”

“I.. made you?” A nod. “And you say you are my… servant?” Another nod. “... wouldn’t I be more your mother if I made you?” Clearly that was not the answer they expected as they are stuttering like crazy trying to say the word ‘mother’. So either Dialga made them, or the original Primal made them somehow by instinct. Does that mean that they came out of…

“N-n-nevermind that Creator! Has something occurred that would make you leave the tower?” They seem nervous. Well, the original Primal was pretty much a wild beast so it may be because of that. Maybe it would be a good idea to say you’re… not someone that took over their body, but rather something different, like you just awoke and freed yourself of whatever had its hold on you? No, that wouldn’t work. Mmm, let’s try this.

“So, you were made by my previous self. Well, I don’t have any memories of what the old me did, but you are the first friendly Pokémon I’ve met today so… hey, I’m Primal. What’s your name?” You appear to have broken the poor Pokémon again.

“C-creator? W-what would you possibly mean? It’s me, Dusknoir.” They look kind of hurt. Now you feel bad, but you really don’t know them at all. Also…

“Is your name really Dusknoir? Do you mean to say the old me didn’t even give you a proper name? Who names their kid their species?”

“... Apparently the previous, unable of rational thought me did. I… I know it can’t change things but… I’m sorry, Dusknoir. You deserve to have a proper name.”

Dusknoir just stands there for a bit before they fall to the floor. Well, you made them faint somehow. Your first interaction with an intelligent Pokémon in this world is going great. Well, you’re not really sure if he really was serious with all he said, or if it was like an act or something, but you don’t really like the idea of leaving him lying around like that. Feral Pokémon could appear at any moment so it is better to take him with you. Wonder how strong this body is? You go and pick him up easily. Huh, either you’re pretty strong or he’s incredibly light. Well he’s a ghost so it could be the last one. You wonder if there is any safe place around to leave him so he’s safe. Maybe a cave? Well, you won’t find anything standing around so you begin moving.

It takes a bit but you find a cave here. It is small but it’ll do. You haven’t seen any other Pokémon here though, it is making you uneasy.

“Uuuhhh…” Oh, he’s waking up! “What a weird dream. How would the Creator be…” They looked at you, sitting on the other edge of the cave.

“Oh good, you’re awake now. I was getting worried, you know. I couldn’t just leave you there on the floor so I carried you here. Hopefully it is safer than the tower.” They are looking at you, just… looking at you. “Is something wrong?”
