After a couple of hours

After a couple of hours is when they let us go only for them to put stakes on the where they tie us to those so Ava is lying on her while I am lying on my back. When we started to look like we were about to fall asleep is when the ghosts would hit our boobs or asses based on which body part was exposed to them. So when I started to fall asleep to would hit my boobs so I would wake up which means when Ava tried she was hit in the ass which make her up after that.
