After Krissy's shower

The warm embrace of the shower provided a brief solace for Krissy, the steady stream of water washing away not just the dirt and grime, but also her apprehensions – at least momentarily. As the hot droplets fell on her, she tried to collect her thoughts. Selene's apartment and the promises of a better life were worlds away from her small-town life. Yet, she couldn’t shake off the feeling that everything came with a price.

Once she finished her shower and wrapped herself in a soft white towel, Krissy found a set of clothes neatly folded on the bed: a satin nightgown and matching robe. Hesitating for only a moment, she slipped into them, the fabric feeling smooth and luxurious against her skin.

Leaving her room, she saw Selene sat elegantly on a plush sofa, a glass of deep-red wine in her hand.

"Ah, there you are," Selene purred, her gaze appraising Krissy from head to toe. "I hope you found everything you needed in your room?"

Krissy nodded, trying to hide her unease. "Yes, thank you. This place is beautiful."

Selene motioned for Krissy to sit across from her. "Come, sit. Have a drink with me." She paused, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "And I find that a little wine makes for a more... agreeable guest."

Krissy slowly walked to the sofa, suddenly self-conscious about her thin bath robe and picked up a glass of red wine that was sitting on the table for her.

Selene maintained a steady flow of conversation while they sat and sipped their wine, artfully steering the topics toward Krissy's life, dreams, and ambitions. With each question and statement, Selene seemed to be digging deeper, searching for weak points and vulnerabilities to exploit. Krissy found herself sharing more than she intended, drawn into Selene's web of intrigue., enjoying the wine

Selene poured them both another glass of wine. "This city can be a dangerous place, Krissy. You should be glad you've found someone like me to guide you." She said, her voice dripping with false sweetness.

Krissy took a sip, the warmth of the wine contrasting with the chill she felt creeping up her spine. "I am grateful, truly. It's just all so new and overwhelming."

Selene leaned forward, her face inches from Krissy's. "Trust me. Do as I say, and you'll thrive. But cross me, and you'll regret it."

The weight of Selene's threat hung heavy in the air. The night was still young, but for Krissy, it felt like it had already stretched on for an eternity. She felt flushed and a little tipsy from the **** on an empty stomach.

Selene leaned back, a predatory smile playing on her lips.
