Adorable bunnies, or killer beasts?

"Huh? A quest to kill a bunch of creatures called Lovely Rabbits?" Kazuma asked, taking down the paper from the board. "And it pays well?"

"Yeah, guess some moved in and some poor traveler managed to limp his way back here after an encounter with them, in order to report them," Cremea remarked. "The quest reward is so high compared to the difficulty level because the town really wants them gone in a hurry, because... Well... They reproduce absurdly fast."

"What's the catch?" Kazuma asked.

"Well... They look cute and cuddly, even with the horn on their heads, but it's just a ruse they use to lure suckers in to try to pet them. Then said suckers get impaled on the horns, and eaten, because Lovely Rabbits are hyper carnivores," Megumin explained.

"Lovely," Kazuma drawled, before sniggering. "That might actually be how they got the name, someone sardonically saying that after seeing someone get shanked."

"Dark," Fio giggled.

"Still, sounds like they're only real threats to idiots unless they are in large enough numbers, and the fact that it pays well is definitely a bonus. I think we'll take this one... Might grab one as a pet for Darkness even," Kazuma joked.

"Why would Darkness want one as a pet?" Aqua blinked. "Sure, they look and sound adorable, but those horns could really hurt... Oh, nevermind, I think I just answered my own question," she realized.

"... that's a great idea Kazuma, I could definitely love such a pet!" Darkness giggled.

"...you do realize I was kidding, right?" Kazuma sweat dropped.
