"Wh...what are you gonna do..?" Jessica broke the awkward silence. The woman paused to think for a moment. "Do you have prospects? A career? Tell me about them." The woman asked her politely. Jessica did not expect that question, especially in the current context. "Um...uhh.... well, I work for the DNN as a journalist and reporter, my dream is to become the richest biggest most famous journalist out there, I wanna take down all the groups of people I hate and despise, be just like my idol Vanessa Sinclair!" She told the woman proudly.

The woman sighed out of disappointment. "Well you can kiss all of those goodbye, im going to be adopting you. You will address me as 'Mommy' only, failure to do so will result in severe consequences..." She explained in a very stern tone.

Jessica gulped, in a mere moment her entire life dream just got flushed down the toilet. "S.. surely theres another way? I can't just quit my job and abandon everything! I have money! I got--"

"SILENCE!" The woman's voice bellowed, interrupting and silencing Jessica. "You do not get to determine your fate, you burnt that opportunity the moment you decided to take a shit on my property like a vile creature!" The woman lectured while Jessica kept her head down, unable to look at her anymore as her whole body shivered with embarassment. All Jessica could do was sit there like a naughty child and accept whatever consequences that get thrown at her...
