Admit the truth

"Uh... no, ma'am, I haven't memorized the rules... ma'am."

The woman's eyes narrow as she frowns.

"Hmm... I suppose I must reward your honesty here, Mr O'Leary. You best memorize them tonight... after your studies, of course."

"Yes, ma'ma. Thank you, ma'am," you say, frantic to keep her happy.

"The main rules are simple. No sneaking out after hours, do your homework, wear your uniform, no smoking, no chewing gum, no drinking, no 'fraternizing' with the girls... or the guys. Just use your conscience and you'll be alright here."

"Yes, ma'am."

"You seem to be one of the better students," the Principal smiles. "You're dismissed. Head straight to class."

"Yes, ma'am, thank you, ma'am," you say, frantically heading out of the room.

You quickly head off with a gasp of relief to get out of there. Thank fuck, you not only survived that, you managed to get on her good side. Terrific.

Well, time to head to class.
