Administration Privileges

How it works:

You have access to a database of information about a group of people, it can be a school records system, government files, employee management, social media profiles, anything else that manages personal information.

Any changes that you make to their information in the system, is applied to reality.

Limitations: Changes can be made by anyone with administrative access to the same system, though they likely won't realize that the system itself is responsible for the changes, and it's assumed that they will only put correct information in. If they look and see that you made someone get paid 100000$ an hour they might assume its a glitch and change it back without checking to see if it's correct.

Variations:

Retroactivity: Your alterations, once applied, seem to have always been in effect. It may be difficult for those changed to realize their alterations were ever not a part of who they are, or that a removed piece of information was ever even a part of them to begin with.

Gradual Adaptation: When you alter someone by applying (or subtracting) information, the effect doesn't begin to change their mental or physical characteristics immediately but rather occurs over a short period of time(eg An overweight couch potato altered to an athlete, with minimal training or exercise, will be capable of Olympic talent in a matter of weeks)

Mental Access: You have a mental link to the database and can make changes at will.

Non-personnel Information: You have access to information not about people but another broad category. For example A legal database or a digital anatomy textbook.
