Adept

The average magic user is not a master of the arcane or divine. The majority of those who cast magic, can only cast it in a limited capacity. They are much less common than experts, warriors, or commoners, but still can make up a respectable quantity of the population.

An Adept is cabable of preparing and casting a small amount of divine spells. These spells are usually healing and support spells, but they do include a couple of offensive spells in their repertoire.

They are often employed in militaries as healers and support. Their magic is a boon to any commander, as their services are much more easily procured than that of other magic users. It is nearly unheard of, for any formal standing army to not have supporting adept soldiers among the ranks.
