Adele reminiscences

With nothing to do but look at the fast disappearing trees outside the window, Adele’s mind drifted to the history between her and Charles.

They met as children, her father used to work for Charles’ father and they frequently saw each other at the office parties and gatherings. Out of all the children, they were the closest in age, with Adele being a few months older. So, naturally, they started to spend more time together whenever they saw each other. She even got invited to the Harris family estate a couple of times for play date with Charles.

Initially, Charles went to an expensive private school, but after his parent's **** and disappearance of his inheritance, Charles got admitted to the same public school as Adele, and that is where the two of really became the best of friends, which in her case evolved into love and eventually, into an obsession.

He was always a very sensitive guy. Not that he was girly or something - he was hardly a jock like David, but he was definitely masculine, He is just as tall as David but more slender, while David was buff, Charles was toned. David was a football player, Charles used to in the swimming and fencing team.

He also had an artistic side, he painted, he sang and he read a lot. With them both being shy and introverted, Adele was the first person to see his painting, to listen to his new song or hear him go on about a great book he just read, all this made her fall in love with him. She was too shy to express her feeling directly and he was too caught up in his world to notice. All of that will change soon.

Adele, not being as attractive as she is now, along with the fact that she was really shy and was in love with Charles, hardly dated. She wanted to lose her virginity with him but got tired of waiting for him to notice her as a woman rather than his best friend or one of the guys and lost it in a drunken one night stand, which she regretted immensely.

Charles was also very shy, but he was very good looking, and his multiple talents made him pretty popular with the opposite sex. But Charles was a true gentleman, and he never slept around, he only had sex with women with whom he was in a serious relationship, of which he had a few, but none of them lasted very long.

After graduation, Charles had to work really hard to maintain the massive estate left by his parents. He was hell bent on not losing the only thing that remained of them. But with the property not generating any income, it was really hard to cover all the costs and the poor guy had to work really hard to earn enough to keep the property in good shape.

Unfortunately, most of the jobs he had did not provide proper outlets for his creativity, all the others except his advertising work were boring, repetitive work, and Adele could tell he was not happy. Charles did not show he was suffering, but Adele felt it. He was so ****. So hurt.

Before becoming a beast woman, she lacked the confidence to try and make him happy, to show him how much she loved him. But now, she does, and soon he will be hers, forever.

The sudden stop of the truck brought her out of her reverie.
